Coming back from Spring Break, we started working by continuing our Landscape Phase. Our teachers figured out a way we were going to exhibit our landscape shots. We are working on making metallic prints, mounting them on wood, and coating them with epoxy. We continued working in our specialty teams to work towards finishing up presenting our projects. A group actually found us a space in Liberty Public Market to have a place to show our work. We have a wall that we will be updating with photographs every couple weeks. We have put up six landscape photos that we have processed with epoxy. We all have to capture our final landscape photos to finish up our landscape phase next week. Epoxy Landscapes
Exhibiting WorkI think it is important to frame and exhibit work because it is one thing to take a picture, but it is another when you actually have a physical copy. We went through a careful process to make our work as best as it can be. When you make your photograph, you have pride in your work because you have actually went through the process of making the light and building its form. It is a way to showcase what you have learned and went through for your photograph.
